            CONFEDERATE PRISONERS IN NEW YORK.  The New York Herald publishes the following list of Confederate officers from North Carolina, held as prisoners of war in Fort Columbia, Governor’s Island, New York harbor, June 11th:

            33d Reg’t.—Col. C. M. Avery, Capt. T. W. Mayhew, Lieuts. J. A. Weston, R. A. Hauser, and John Anderson.

            26th Reg’t.—Capt. O. R. Ranol, and Lieut. J. W. Vitson.

            28th Reg’t.—Major S. D. Lowe, Capts. W. W. Speer, S. N. Stowe, and G. B. Johnston; Lieuts. N. Bohanon, C. Scott, and M. A. Thornbury.

            18th Reg’t.—Capt. T. W. Brown.

            37th Reg’t.—Capt. W. Y. Farthing, Lieuts. R. L. Steele, J. L. Bost, and W. A. Stuart.

            Latham’s Battery—Lieuts. W. Wheeler, and C. H. Brown.
